MANUAHI DAY March 27, 2023

Hilo’s own Lyman Museum will hold a Manuahi Day on Monday, March 27.  If you haven’t visited the Museum since you were in the 4th grade—or if your keiki haven’t seen it yet—treat your ‘ohana on Prince Kūhiō Day to a free day at the Best Museum in East Hawai‘i!

The Lyman Museum is the only place in all of Hawai‘i where you can explore both the natural and the cultural history of our islands under one roof.  Volcanoes, island formation, natural habitats, plants and animals, marine and land shells, rock and minerals—they are all to be found in the Earth Heritage Gallery.  And in the new Island Heritage Gallery you can time travel through the human history of Hawai‘i, from the settlement of these islands to the present day.

Everyone is welcome to visit at no charge on Manuahi Day, March 27, from 10:00AM to 4:30PM … no reservations required!  Additional parking for this day only will be available next door at Hilo Union School.  For more information, call 808-935-5021 or visit www.lymanmuseum.org.  E komo mai!
